Nieuw ontdekte fragmenten van Van den levene ons Heren (Mainz, Martinus-Bibliothek, Fragm. germ. 10)

Samenvatting

In 2011, new fragments of the Middle Dutch verse text Van den levene ons Heren (Of the Life of Our Lord) were discovered in the Martinus Library of Mainz. The two single leaves, the remnants of a small parchment codex (c. 160 x c. 110 mm), are the subject of this article. The text is edited here and compared to the textual tradition of Van den levene ons Heren. The fragments are analyzed against the background of the manuscript tradition of Van den levene ons Heren, which consists mainly of small-size, single column codices.
